You should only add information about another person when you have the appropriate permission or legal authority to do so.

If you use SyncNest's email-parsing or email-import features, you may provide emails or email content for SyncNest to analyze and convert into tasks, events, reminders, or other organizational information.

Depending on the feature and your configuration, this information may include:

SyncNest uses this information to provide the feature you requested, such as identifying dates, deadlines, events, assignments, or tasks.

We do not sell the contents of your emails.

If you choose to connect a third-party service, such as a calendar or email provider, SyncNest may receive information from that service according to the permissions you grant.

You can disconnect an integration through the applicable SyncNest settings or, where applicable, through the third-party service.

1.5 Payment Information

If you purchase a paid SyncNest subscription or other paid service, payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider.

We may receive information such as:

  • Subscription information
  • Billing country or similar billing information

Payment providers may collect and process payment card or bank information directly. SyncNest does not need to store your complete payment card number to provide the Services.

SyncNest is designed for shared family organization. Information that you intentionally make available to your family or household may be visible to other members of that family or household.

For example, a shared calendar event, grocery list, or task may be visible to other authorized members of the relevant SyncNest family.

You should consider who has access to your family before adding sensitive information.

3.2 Service Providers

We may share information with trusted service providers that help us operate SyncNest, such as providers for:

  • Customer support
  • Error monitoring
  • Payment processing

We do not use private family content to create or maintain advertising profiles.

5. Children's Privacy

SyncNest is intended to help families organize their activities. Because SyncNest may be used by families that include children, we take children's privacy seriously.

SyncNest does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in circumstances where parental consent is legally required without obtaining the required consent.

If SyncNest permits a child under 13 to create or use an account, any such functionality will be subject to applicable children's privacy laws and appropriate parental-consent mechanisms.

Any family members, people, tasks, events, messages, schoolwork, or other information shown in our advertisements are not intended to represent real SyncNest users or their private information, unless we explicitly state otherwise and have obtained the appropriate permission.

Advertising and Your SyncNest Data

We do not use the private content you store in SyncNest to create advertisements.

We do not use your:

  • Calendar events
  • Tasks
  • Goals
  • Grocery lists
  • Family information
  • Email contents
  • Google Calendar data
  • Google Classroom data
  • Google-derived information

to create personalized advertisements for you.

In particular, Google Calendar and Google Classroom data obtained through Google APIs is not used for advertising, retargeting, personalized advertising, or interest-based advertising. This is consistent with Google's API Services User Data Policy, which prohibits using Google user data for serving ads, including retargeting and personalized or interest-based advertising.

Advertising Platforms

When SyncNest advertises on third-party platforms, those platforms may independently collect information about people who view or interact with advertisements according to their own privacy policies and advertising practices.

For example, an advertising platform may provide us with aggregated information about the performance of an advertisement, such as how many people viewed or interacted with it.

Our advertising activities do not give advertising platforms access to your private SyncNest content or Google Calendar/Classroom data.

No Sale of Personal Information

SyncNest does not sell your personal information to advertisers, advertising networks, data brokers, or other third parties.

We also do not provide Google Calendar or Google Classroom data to advertising platforms.

If our advertising practices change in a way that materially affects how personal information is used, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notices or choices required by applicable law.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the beginning of this policy.
